I want to work right alongside you at a brand new, one time only, MSP marketing seminar

This is your chance to work with me personally to create a powerful, bespoke 2019 marketing plan for your business. Because I think that next year, everything is going to change…

BRAND NEW: MSP marketing seminar in London on Wednesday 21st November 2018, 10am to 5pm

Create your 2019 marketing plan alongside MSP marketing expert Paul Green.

You’ll put together a 2019 marketing plan to:

  • Get as many new clients as you want, despite the approaching recession
  • Motivate your existing clients to want to buy more from you (increasing net profits)
  • Use the very latest marketing tactics on your website and Facebook
  • Get all of this done, increasing your own personal income, while actually taking more holidays (woohoo)

Hello

How’s business been in your MSP throughout 2018? I hope you’ve had a really great one.

Here’s a question though… what’s your plan for growing your net profits in 2019?

Let me tell you why I’m asking.

Everything is going to change next year, because of a number of different factors. Including the slow collapse of big retail chains, Brexit, a property prices slump, and the cyclical nature of the economy (we’re due a recession again).

It’s why I’ve put something special together for the most ambitious MSP owners. Where we can work together in a small group, to plan our way out of trouble.

You see, I truly believe that any set of limiting circumstances (such as recession, Brexit etc) can be beaten, with a solid plan. Containing a smart, relevant strategy, and choosing the most up-to-date tactics.

It doesn’t have to be a long or complicated plan. But there does need to be a plan. And it needs to be bespoke to your business.

If you desire rapid growth from your business in 2019, I want to work with you (and your management team) to develop a simple but powerful growth strategy.

Here’s the thing. I don’t see recession as a threat. I see it as a BIG opportunity for a small number of MSP owners who are ready for it

The other day, my lovely 8-year-old daughter Matilda said to me “Daddy, aren’t we lucky as a family?”.

“No!” I replied. And then bored her for 10 minutes telling her that’s there’s no such thing as luck.

I said: “Luck is where preparation meets opportunity,”… as she slid away from me and switched YouTube back on…

You see, no matter what happens in the recession, I will grow my businesses. I will get more new clients. I will find more things they want to buy from me.

Heck, I will probably acquire some new businesses for next to nothing. In a bizarre way, I’m looking forward to the recession.

This isn’t boasting. It’s just a fact. Because after a business-owning career stretching back 13 years now, I’m in the lucky position to have acquired a specific set of skills. That allow me to grow any business, anywhere, under any circumstances.

And I’d like to share these skills with you, at this brand new one time only, MSP marketing seminar in London.

What are these skills? I possess the power of effective, direct response marketing that just bloody works

I don’t know how to design logos. I have little to say about branding. I can’t really build a web page. And I don’t even have a marketing degree (or any degree, for that matter). These things do not hold me back. Never have done, and never will.

Because what I do have is more than a decade’s experience, of cold, hard, hands on marketing (the last couple of years, much of it working with MSPs).

Not poncey crap marketing, such as “let’s faff with the logo”, or “let’s tweet more”. That’s what marketing agencies suggest when they don’t know how to get you more clients.

All of my marketing is direct response. That means you spend a little money… and you either make more money, or you don’t. So you know instantly whether it’s working or not. And then you tweak it and tweak it until it’s working for you.

I’ve learned the hard way through an endless series of experiments, mistakes and cock ups. I’ve easily spent tens of thousands of £££ on marketing education and experiments

Saying that, my experiments have all been small scale… you can find out what works today on Facebook or through direct mail by spending £100. You don’t need to spend thousands for an effective test.

These marketing skills helped me build my last business from £0 to a seven figure turnover, and ultimately a successful exit in 2016. All of it from great marketing.

And it’s helped hundreds and hundreds of my clients along the way, many of them MSPs.

I’d like to apply my marketing skills to your business. Here’s what we’ll do together at this one time only MSP marketing seminar

I’m limiting the numbers at this seminar to about 15 MSPs.

That gives me the opportunity to give your business some personal attention, while you create your own 2019 bespoke marketing plan.

We’ll be really flexible on the day (this is no death by PowerPoint).

Here’s my plan of attack:
  1. Quick intro from each business
  2. What do you want to achieve in 2019 (in business and in life)
  3. Ranking your business in the 6 areas of competence
  4. Getting new clients: The main topic of the day
  5. What’s working really well right now on websites
  6. Facebook and LinkedIn are your greatest marketing weapons of 2019
  7. Selling more to existing clients (with no selling required) and increasing average lifetime value
  8. How to GTD (Get Things Done) without having a heart attack at your desk at 9pm one Tuesday night

So do I really believe everything’s going to change in 2019?

Yes I do. I really think there’s going to be a massive impact on business owners next year.

You’d be crazy not to realise that the British economy is going to hit a big brick wall at some point in 2019.

I’m convinced that a whole load more retail chains will throw in the towel in January. If they have a bad Christmas, and then the quarterly rent bill or VAT bill is due, they simply won’t have the cash to survive.

And whether we have a hard Brexit, a soft Brexit, a lightly boiled Brexit – or no Brexit at all (technically still possible) – we’re due a recession anyway. In fact, I think this one’s going to be known as The Great Brecession (I’ve already bought the domain name).

Let’s put that in context. All a recession means is that the economy is trending down a bit, rather than the usual trending up.

But it’s the effect that will have on ordinary people, that will affect your business.

Once we officially go into recession (some believe we’re there already), the media will start banging on about it endlessly (yes I realise I’m contributing with these words).

People will slow down spending. Be more cautious. And that will have a knock on effect across the whole of the UK.

This doesn’t have to be a threat to your business. In fact, this can be your big opportunity.

As the other MSPs near you start pulling back, cutting costs, hacking spending on marketing… you carry on. You keep doing the small marketing activities that work, every day, to win you more new clients, and get them to choose to spend more with you.

You keep implementing the plan that we will put together at this event. And you will steal net profit from lots of other MSPs in your area.

Understand this: Most people don’t fail in life because they aim too high and miss. They fail because they aim too low and hit

Your questions answered

Question: Can I just send my staff, Paul?

No, this seminar is for business owners only. The content is specifically aimed at the people in full charge of the business.

I operate at a strategic level. I want you to be clear on what you want to achieve from your business next year.

While the technical work can be delegated to a marketing person, the strategic planning needs to be done by the leader.

Question: Why is this at such a low cost, Paul?

I’m only charging £68 + vat per person for this event. That’s the cost per person the hotel is charging me. There’s no profit for me from this event.

Why would I do that? That’s easy. This is a great way for us to meet, and to move our working relationship on.

By the end of the day, you’ll either think I’ve got a lot to contribute, or you’ll think I’m an idiot!

(side note – this is called Marmite marketing… you either love it or you hate it. It’s better for someone to form an opinion about you, even a negative one, than no opinion at all).

I have several business and property ventures, but make a big chunk of my personal income running my two MSP Mastermind groups. Each is a small group of 13 non-competing MSP owners that meet once a month to support each other, growing the business.

If you do like what I have to say, I’ll give you the chance to try out the MSP Mastermind at some point when we have a space. At time of writing, I only have one vacancy in each group, and we do have a waiting list.

I’ll be completely honest – I want to keep the group full at 13 members. When people achieve their goals and finish their time with me, they move on from the group. I want to have a waiting list of motivated MSP owners I have met and know would make an excellent part of the group.

This seminar for me to meet you, and you to meet me. If we’ve met before, it’s a great way to give our working relationship an up-to-date boost.

But I absolutely, 100% promise you, there won’t be any selling on the day. I won’t try to sell you anything. There won’t be a “killer deal”!

When I work with MSP owners, it’s long-term. This is us getting to know each other more. We can talk about how we work together some other time.

Question: When will your next event be after this one?

Not this year that’s for sure. And probably not till late 2019.

A few years back I was putting on 6 events a month, every month, around the UK. I presented to 1,000 business owners, mostly in groups of 10 to 20. And it kind of burnt me out a little bit.

I love doing these events when there are only a few of them. So no plans to repeat this in the near future.
